Detailed timetable coming soon.
The Symposium will has four main sessions – Art, Equality, Attitude and Future. Each will focus on a different topic, which has been crowdsourced and then arrived at by a public online vote.
Art because it’s the very reason Unlimited exists – to support ambitious, creative projects by outstanding disabled artists and companies. Equality – which should be central to every aspect of the cultural sector. Attitude, as this is where our actions are rooted. Future – because this is what we need to change.
Each session will begin with a series of provocations from a diverse range of speakers followed by discussion and debate in a number of different spaces throughout the building:
- You can stay in the main theatre space and question some of the provocateurs directly to find out more
- You can go to one of three chaired breakout spaces, each with different access options
- You can engage with artists and other creative responses sited around the building
- You can find space for your own conversations – and responses
Everyone will be encouraged to share their thinking, including those attending remotely. Chairs for each session will report back after the event summarising perspectives and learning.
