Opportunity Knocks: support the Unlimited team into the future

Unlimited has been extended until 2022, which means more commissions for more disabled artists and that we are looking for a few people to support the Unlimited programme and our team into the future.

Transition Communications, Unlimited

CONTRACT: Freelance contract for individual, organisation or team.

TIMESCALE: May 2020 – March 2022

BUDGET AND FEES: £10,000 (inc VAT)
It is assumed access requirements will be met by Access To Work support.

LOCATION: Remote/various.

BRIEF: We are looking for someone to take a lead on guiding Unlimited’s communications, marketing, brand and profile through its transition from a programme to a new independent organisation. The initial task will involve reviewing Unlimited’s brand, profile and current activities.

REPORTING TO: Senior Producer, Unlimited and Head of Marketing and Development, Artsadmin.

Arts Support, Unlimited 

CONTRACT: Part-time freelance contract, three days/24 hours per week for six months with the possibility of extension to 12 months.

TIMESCALE: April/May 2020 – Sept/October 2020 in the first instance.

BUDGET AND FEES: 3 days per week @ £150 per day for 26 weeks/76 days
Plus £500 budget for travel / accommodation / other expenses. It is assumed access requirements will be met by Access To Work support.

LOCATION: Remote/various

BRIEF: A freelance contract to join the Unlimited core delivery team and provide some (but not all) of the following: supporting artists that Unlimited are already working with, the development of commission application material, applicants applying to Unlimited’s new commissions round, the development of our allies scheme, being part of Southbank Centre’s Unlimited festival (9-13 September 2020), plus other core delivery team tasks.

Transition Manager, Unlimited

CONTRACT: freelance contract for individual, organisation or team

TIMESCALE: April/May 2020 – Oct 2021

BUDGET AND FEES: Up to £25,000 (inc VAT)
Plus £1000 budget for travel / accommodation / other expenses
It is assumed access requirements will be met by Access To Work support
It is anticipated that work will be clustered around the stages described below, however monthly contact as minimum is anticipated.

LOCATION: Remote/various

BRIEF: A freelance contract to act as a ‘Transition Guide’ for Unlimited. We are looking for someone to work closely with us through this transition period. Primarily this is to research, locate, summarise and present options in relation to the model and structure of the new independent organisation and its policies and working procedures, operating systems and governance model. Decision making rests with the Unlimited team (current SMT and chair/board once appointed) – this role is to present options and guidance, and to help implement actions once decisions are made.
