Back in January, East Street Arts’ Guild programme and Unlimited pulled together a small bunch of artists to chat about visual arts and the artist-led sector, and the barriers facing disabled artists. This is a visual record of what was discussed… Illustrations by Tom Bailey.
Building on Guild’s work to support artist spaces as a sector support organisation, the group were looking at ways access can be embedded within the foundations of artist-led set ups. The session was far reaching and topics covered were documented visually. Now felt like a great time to share these visual notes, on topics ranging from online resources for artists, to access riders and access audits, to thinking around peer support and information networks.
