A woman in her twenties with albinism, sat on an otherwise empty stage, at the far right hand side. Her hair is in a pony tail and she is wearing running clothes. The stage and back drop are all under blue light. This was taken from a digital recording of Within Sight at Tramway, 2020. Credit - Sarah Grant.

Ellen Renton – And Who’s She When She’s At Home

And Who’s She When She’s At Home is a multimedia poetry installation based on themes of heritage, home, and class. Stemming from the discovery that her great great grandmother worked as a servant one street away from where she now lives, poet Ellen Renton intertwines stories from her own life with stories from her family’s past to create a living and breathing record of history with contemporary relevance.
